In yoga, sun salutations are a series of twelve postures performed in a single graceful flow with each movement coordinated with the breath (also called surya namaskar). The Sanskrit word namaskar stems from namas, which means “to bow to” or “to adore,” making SON Salutations a fitting name for this blog– I adore my two sons, Max and Evan. As with yoga, parenting them often takes a few deep breaths, coordination,  and lots of self-awareness, but at the end of the day I’m filled with gratitude for the days I get to spend with them.

Enjoy some photos of our journey.
